Hey Vann,

I've had the 180 for quite a while now. It is the only head I've bought and is good.

I didn't really like it for the first couple of years but it has grown on me. I play mainly metal and it isn't really made for that, more of a bluesy amp. I still find it hard to explain but it does what it needs to.

What style do you mainly play?

I know a guy used to have an Electric Blue 180 combo amp. That thing was boomy as hell but that's a speaker issue. The amp part sounded quite nice run to other cabs. Pretty strong for what you'd think of as 180 watts. It does have a bit warmer, full sound. Not a grindy metal amp. If you want that, you'd have to put a pedal in front of it.

My cold dead fingers.

Yeah, it's bassy. Loud. Powerful EQ. Love mine.
