A decent 8 inch driver goes for around $50 each, so you're at $200 there. At the very least a well made cabinet will add another $150. So $350 is the least you should expect to pay for a 4x8 worth having.

It sounded decent till I blew a speaker some how. I was using it as an ext cab off of on SWR Basic Black Combo and I guess I just turned it up a bit too much. I would recommend going with something else personally.

The Seismic gear is made to the lowest quality standards of almost any brand on the market at this time.

I would avoid it.

I have one of these. It's a nice sounding cab for its size, but it doesn't seem very efficient. I'm using it with a Hartke LH-500 and even with the amp cranked its not as loud as you would think it would be. I've used it on a couple of smaller gigs where I didn't want to lug a 4x10. I had no problem being heard though. Would work great with another cab. it has a nice crisp top end.

Those are by all means inefficient cabs. I was using a 4x8 with a SWR 4004 in my folk band with the upright for practices. It had a good low end but we blew an 8" without ever getting loud enough to keep up with a rock band.
