set of peavey 112dl for t-max?

Sign in to disble this ad
Is a set of Peavey 112dl speakers a reasonable option for my Peavey t-max?

I remember hearing how pleased everyone has been with their 2x12 set ups on this forum when I used to frequent it way back when. These are two pa 12s with horns.

Is eventually changing the speakers on these an option down the road. Or is that not advisable.

They are at least very portable!

Ok let me be less vague. Its not likely ideal in terms of THE tone.

But will it handle the lows reasonably well? Without being overpowered too easily.

What are the chances that upgrading to a different bass speaker later will result in a mismatched speaker/cab combo?

Thanks

Well I ended up buying these after all. They work good! Way better than the Ashdown 115 cab I have. Louder, more natural thoughout all frequencies. and they handle more EQ settings than the 115. Even down low! Where the 15 farts out, just a signle 12 handles it!

Question: When I use both my amps out puts (1 to each cab) I know I'm running each speaker Parallel.
But
When I use the 1 output and chain both of the 12s is it wired series or parallel?

Thanks
