Here is the Fender link, in case you don't already have it...

http://www.fender.com/features/fba/r...umble-15/page1

It only has an 8" speaker, I would keep it low after turning up your bass vol. . The EQ settings should give you a decent sound. Looks like a great practice amp. I had the Rumble 60. With a good pair of headphones you should be ok for a while. You could always try micing it into a PA but at least you won't be getting your neighbors mad etc.....have fun and good luck .....

It is a bedroom practice amp afterall so don't expect to be shaking the walls with it. Just turn the knobs back and forth until you find a decent sound. Setting the amp up against a wall or in a corner will help re-enforce whatever lows it has to give.

This could be hit/miss because with such limited tone control options the 1]natural sound of your bass's pickups and 2] the amp's speaker may overwhelm anything possible with the bass/treble controls available to you...one trick is to start with both tone controls fully counterclockwise [minimum position] adjust the volume, then start adding a little of the bass control until you get a decent balance between the lows and the mids...then worry about the treble control...or forget about it entirely. Cranking both tone controls would give you an effective mid-cut, and cutting both while cranking the volume gives you an effective mid-boost.

One thing you could start looking for is a used pedal eq on craigslist....
