Hi Bass Players i need some info on this Pre.
Does anybody on TB use this Preamp for bass because i found one (KTG-1) in the local used guitar store.
Its selling for $345 but because i know him `sort of` he said $250.He says it could work alright with a bass set-up.
I have a Sansamp RPM and the amp i use is Stereo so maybe i can run a clean & dirty with the KTG-1 & RPM ??
Any feedback would be great !
Thanks TB`ers.

usually, guitar pres are rolled off on the bottom to suit guitar more. it might work for bass, though at that price i'd definitely try before i buy.

Thanks JimmyM,
I did ask him about testint it first.
I may give it a pass though.
He also has an `MIJ` 85 Jazz Bass Special. Its pretty banged up but its playable. The headstock decal is totally peeling off & the neck & body has a few chips.
I could fix this bass up, it has th exact same body as my LYTES & p/u too only thing is...
he wants $1000 for it.I love them basses but im not getting ripped off.
NO WAY MATEY.

IMO, $1K for that bass is way out of line, which now makes me wonder if the price on the duncan pre is too high too.

JohnK is right theres now way i would pay 1k for that bass unless it was in perfect mint condition but its not.Its got a few dings & other things that will cost to fix so it will cost even more than 1k.
Im letting the KTG-1 go because its not for bass, it can work but im going for something more focused.
