Shipping a cabinet from the US to Europe?

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone ever shipped a cabinet from the US to Europe via seafreight or another way? (I am looking at a 2x12 cabinet - too large for the airplane since the shipping weight of an aguliar DB212 is 90 pounds unfortunately!)

I've only shipped basses.

Check with One Drop. He lives in Verbier and has some nice gear. Not sure if he shipped or bought local.

Have you looked at gear prices at www.musix.ch? They can have good deals.

Surely there is somewhere in the EU you could buy a DB212?

While things are a lot cheaper in the US, remember you'll get hit with import tax and VAT ontop of all the shipping (possibly some random customs charges too)

Are listed as being your local distributers, maybe they could get you a decent deal?

I've shipped large ATA flight cases (3'x6'x4') with electronic equipment all over the world.
We used to use Flying Tigers or DHL
