Okay I have a Fafner amp that works but I have to turn it off and on by the power cord, and the volume goes up and down whenever it feels like it. It's the 1st generation Fafner amp, which is known to have problems with the on/off switch.

So my question is should I get it fixed and keep rockin it, or should I buy that G-K amp like tomorrow, and throw the Fafner in the closet.

I would do both. The Fafner's repair will most likely cost at least that much and having a backup is always a good thing. You mean a 400RB? That's an excellent price.

Fix the Fafner and funk her thru my EBS cabinet. I'm thinking the same thing since it's just the switch that needs replacing, I mean it shouldn't cost too much to fix.

But $140 for a G-K400RB is a steal.
