hey all, just recently started to play bass.
Found a peavey TNT 160 amp, bit of cosmetic damage but that is all.
Amp is $650, can't find much information on the web about these so I don't know whether it is a good buy or not.
Cheers

Peavey came out with a new version of the TNT. It's part of the Tour series and it's a 600 watt amp for $500. I have one and it's awesome. If you were looking to spend around that much on a bass combo, you can't go wrong with one of these; it's a very versatile amp and will do pretty much whatever you need it to.
It has a 7 band EQ, built in compression and more.
Check it out:

or for around the same price pick up a used MarkBass II and Epifani 112, that would rock hard!

this is a great recommendation!! I have not played one but have read all the posts on this amp. Do a search in the amps section and you will find a lot of info on this combo.
