So I was thinking the other day what other way could I make this head look totally badass but to polish the aluminum faceplate on the amp? I can make aluminum look like chrome with enough elbow grease

Ive done lots of polishing before so Im not worried about my abilities, rather do the most of you think this is a bad or good idea?

depends on weather or not you think your going to resell it. I can't imagine it would do anything but take away from its value, might look cool though.
