Should I sell or not?

I have (2) Epifani UL-115 cabs. I know they are very hard to find these days, but I really only use one cab on all gigs. The other just sits in my bedroom. I originally thought I would use both on bigger gigs, but realized that wouldn't really be necessary, as FOH support would be had at these bigger venues.

The single cab works great by itself, but here's my dilemma. Do I sell one cab, since it's not being used to fund a new bass, or do I just keep it because it's a great cab, and you never know when I could need a backup.

What to do...

Having owned and a Bergantino HT112ER, then sold it just because I wasn't using it at that time, I say keep both. You never know when the situation will arise when you will need it.

If there is no pressing need for the money or space, what's the harm in keeping it? You never know if you might need it later on.

There IS a pressing need (GAS) for a bass that I found. I a bass just like it not long ago, and really want another.

It DOES take up a little room in our master bedroom, but that's not the real issue. It's more of a financial thing.

Keep it! Unless you need the money, the space or yer wife or gf is pressuring you to get rid of it.

Although, I'm the worst about keeping even broken gear around. I never sell anything if I can help it. I traded in an Ampeg 210 combo for an Ampeg SVT hfn 410 and still feel a slight twinge when thinking of that combo amp.

I love my 410! But a nice combo is always handy.

Sounds like you would really prefer to keep it. If that's true, hang on to it.

On the other hand, if you need the money to fund another purchase or for any other purpose, then selling it would come in handy. Just don't expect to get what you think it's worth, that's all. You may get whatever that amount is, but I certainly wouldn't depend on it. Still, money's money.

You have only two cabs, if the one you use all the time gets damaged and you sell your backup where would you be? Load in load out and accidents on stage happen all the time.

Sell your Schecter Diamond and the cab. You don't need two cabs!
