described as "Effectively a computer built into a guitar cabinet" its a very good idea.. but maybe they held back a bit on the first release specs include~
NVIDIA® GeForce® 9300 integrated graphics (overclocked GPU)
- GPU clock: 580 MHz / Shader clock: 1400 MHz
- HDMI/VGA/DVI-I allowing up to three monitor outputs at the same time
- Onboard 5.1-channel high-definition audio (via 3 stereo mini-jacks) and Optical * Coaxial S/PDIF outputs
- 2 independent ¼" jack inputs for guitar, microphone or instrument, switchable and attenuated
- 2 line-output ¼" jack sockets
- 2 powered jack sockets for external speaker use

- Intel® Pentium® Processor E5400 (2M Cache, 2.70 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
- 4GB dual-channel DDR2 800 (PC6400)
- 7 USB 2.0 ports and 1 eSATA port for adding extra storage and devices.
- Includes a top loaded (slot loading) DVD±RW DL for easy access and built-in Wi-Fi (802.11g) featuring a top loaded antenna maximising signal strength and throughput.
- PCI-E x16 accepting a range of interfaces from PCI-E x1 through to x16.

seems to be fairly average computer these days ... but is it enough?...id like you guys to share your 2 cents about this topic because id like to see the feedback thanks

The new specs seem to be different, there is a 3.1 GHz dual core i3 instead of the 2.7 GHz single core Pentium, the RAM is faster too, 1333 MHz instead of 800. I'd rather see a 1TB hard drive and an Ethernet port, but it looks fairly solid as long as you aren't doing a lot of processor heavy stuff. Having a combo and computer in one box is a cool idea for portability, but this kind of looks like a gimmick even though the computer isn't half baked.

Orange OPC

There's 1Gbps Ethernet built into the unit as well as Wireless-N. It comes with a 500GB Hard Drive but you can open the OPC up to add your own 1TB (or 2TB if you really want) just like any other desktop PC.

The Sandy Bridge CPU's are quite powerful- Windows see's '4' cores on these i3's because of the hyper-threading used (although there is 2 cores).

There's more info about the latest spec here:

So what you're saying is that it's been okay for me to keep my computer right next to my highly magnetic speakers THIS ENTIRE TIME?
Fooey!

And we thank Orange for that lest it becomes shiny white plastic and non-intuitive.

Sooo, it's a computer wedged into a speaker box? Why the need for this? I guess I'm just missing something, but it has no screen, so on the fly changes at a show seem impossible. I also really don't like the idea of Windows bringing down the whole rig, not just effects processing, in the event of a failure. Orange screen of death, if you will.

It's a cool idea, I guess, but nothing that couldn't be done on an iPhone already. If it has something super awesome that it can do, please someone explain it to me, because I think it's a cool concept.

Not to go off topic too much, but I really find Macs much more intuitive than Windows. It's unlearning Windows that is most of the problem.
