I'm all about modular these days, and tend to mix and match amps/cabs as needed. Usually what I find myself using most though is my PF500/PF115HE combo.

5sg.

Ampeg PF500 with two PF115's (sorry for the crappy picture from the pit!)

Shuttle 6.0 with Avatar B210/B212 Neos

(1974 Ampeg V4B)

Fun rock tone at low volume:

Just finished putting this rig together around April of this year. I absolutely LOVE IT!!! I divided the rack boxes so that I could take the top one with wireless/preamp/effects to our practice space or whenever a backline is provided and just patch into the supplied amp's effects return loop. I can actually put the full rig, believe it or not, into my 2009 Hyundai Elantra AND still have room for the gf.

Crappy cell phone pics but it's the best I could do.

What I like about this thread is the diversity of rigs!

My rig:
Fender Custom Shop Jazz
EBMM Sterling Classic
Jule Amps Monique all-tube preamp (w/NOS tubes)
Crest CA9 power amp
Stacked pair of Genz Benz Uber 212 cabs

I'm new to bass, and here's my humble first rig...a 1984 Peavey Fury into a Hartke Kickback 12 combo amp. I'm very impressed by the overall sound and quality of this set-up - Sounded quite nice at band rehearsal last night.

Oh, and I've included my guitar/electric-mandolin pedal board though I haven't tried the Peavey through it yet...Looking forward to that this weekend!

Its Laney for me, although I run two heads, a Laney B1 and a Hartke. For smaller gigs I use a Markbass.

I think I have the smallest least expensive rig on here.

By the way my Peavey DataBass is still for sale.

Here's what I've been using lately ..... ThunderFunk 550-B or a Tone Hammer 500 with a Berg HS-410 or for the louder gigs and/or that want the big look, a Berg NV610 .... but in all fairness the HS-410 can sound somewhat like the NV610, when you turn the tweeter off and turn the bass down a little

I've downsized a ton over the past few years...

Though the pic is missing another cab and a couple of basses, this encompasses my very content life as a bassist these days

It is a FANTASTIC preamp and the effects are really top shelf. It has stereo effects that I use onstage if the stage is big enough for me to separate my cabs. I have the stereo effects going to FOH though which really seem to catch the listener's ear. I absolutely love that I can control everything from the MIDI pedal board and the two expression pedals and the sweet thing about that connection (AxeFX <--> MIDI controller) is that all I have to do is run a CAT5 cable between the two which provides all midi data communication as well as phantom power. No need to have an AC extension going to the pedal board or plug it into any AC outlet at all.

Yes, the only bass amp emulation in the AxeFX is a classic SVT head but it does it really REALLY well with all the original controls plus plus plus. It's really quite overwhelming what it is capable of. I definitely think it was worth the price I paid for it.
