Shrunken head syndrome?

Sign in to disble this ad
I was thinking of purchasing/running either a Genz Shuttle 9.0 w/ Uber 810, or an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 w/dB412 in my new metal project. I figured it'd be enough wattage. And with probably boosting some of the freqs., it'll be enough cab to handle it. Anyone have feedback on a rig/ or something like that? Thank you.

If you're not loud enough with an 8x10 or that 4x12, there's something very wrong.

I only use a 410 and don't even have my volume at 12 usually. So I agree with the above. If you can't be loud enough with either that 810 or 412, you're not doing it right.

I don't have the rig at the moment, so I don't have "eq" problems. I undertsand eq, I just didn't know for reason might not be a good combination of mini head/ cab.

I was just trying to see if I could have a good rig with that setup by only needing to carry a cab, and a bass on my back(with the head in the gigbag).
