Shuttle 6.0 and Avatar Neo 410

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone used this combination? I am thinking about selling my NEOX 212, keeping my NEOX 112 and picking up an Avatar 410.
I've been seeing some other bands with 410 cabs and they just seem to get deeper and louder than I can with my 212. Even with EQ I can't seem to get that tight deep sound the band needs.

How does the Shuttle 6.0 do paired up with the Avatar 410?

Thanks for the help.

I would imagine it would sound great through that cab. My avatar 410 neo sounds deep fat and punchy with any head i have ever tried through it, so far have tried a hartke 3500, ampeg v4b, ampeg svp with power amp, and an swr headlite through it and it performs well with all of them. The bottom end of that cab is exceptional.

I can't speak specifically for the Avatar 410, but IMHO/IME, some 410's seem to bring on an authoritative deep-tight punch that just really works in a mix.....
now some 4x10s are bigger down low and more open sounding than others so choose to your taste......but my all around favorite config is a 410......right now the AE410 for size, weight, tone and volume is serving me quite well......
again, listen before you buy or at least before you commit.......
my statement above though are kind of general, and subjective

FWIW....I must admit that the a NEOX 112 or 2x Neox 112 is not my thing tonally, but maybe that's just me......Good gear for sure, just not my preferred taste
a big part of it comes down to amp/bass/cab pairing, cab porting, voicing, etc.......

maybe the Avatar 410 is your ticket.....
listen to everything you can and with your amp and bass if at all possible.....
maybe also check out the Bergantino AE410, AE212, GLOCKENKLANG 410, GK Neo 212, GK Neo 410, etc, etc...
there's a number of possibilities out there......its your pocket and your ears.....
