Has any one done I direct comparison on these two heads recently? I did a search and I can't believe I did not see anything.

I had them both and kept the LM2...... and also got an F1

Both very good heads. I find the 6.0 has more variety of tones, and more modern, and a bit agressive to my ears. The LM2 is sweeeeeet, round, warm, rich.

Product care, information and service is amazing at Genz Benz.

Had them both and opted for the F1 head. Seemed to have more punchy midrange, and also seemed to really open up in a 4 ohm load. Did'nt care for the all or nothing switches on the Shuttle, and the LM seemed more dark sounding than the F1 with everything set flat. Of course, all this stuff is subjective as hell; if it sounds good to you, then it is.

Someone in my local area was offering a (supposedly) excellent condition 6.0 for $425. Is it worth checking out?

There was quite a lengthy thread on this topic quite a while ago so if you're really interested you may want to try a search. I'm not trying to be a search nazi just saying. I have the 6.0 and love it.
