Shuttle 9.0 Who uses it for Rock and hows that worked out for you?

Certainly there's a ton of positive feedback from people who love the Shuttle 9.0. But one thing most reviews and comments don't include is the type of music it's being used for.
Given the "HiFi" and "warm" description often used when describing the Shuttle voicing, I'm interested in how people using it for rock like it.
OK, I guess that would include classic rock, modern rock, hard rock, slightly mellow rock....

I just got a 6.0 and run it through an Ampeg 8x10 with a EBMM Stingray 5.... Sounds killer. The current band I'm in plays everything from AC/DC to Led Zepplin, Black Eyed Peas, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, ect.....

Basically Classic Rock, Top 40, Modern Rock, Country and Dance. This thing does it all.

Can`t wait to rehearse with my new project, a Sublime tribute band.

Hope this helps.

If you're looking for gritty, overdriven sounds, look elsewhere. Or add something (VT Bass?) on the front end.

If my experience is any indicator, it's *very* hard to overdrive the front end of this thing. That's fine with me, but maybe you're looking for more?

Get an rc booster or vt pedal if you want grind. And when you want just pure nasty stanky punch..just turn her up. "Buddha" Has two of the shuttle 9.0's on my recomendation.

I play in a stoner/metal band. I stick an overdrive/fuzz pedal infront, and it kills. Can dial a very small amount of grit in clean on the amp, eq is great, it sounds pretty tubey, and has enough power for what I need to do. Best amp in my mind I've owned. Wouldnt change it!
