Silvertone 1483 amp

Hey all, lots of love for the tubes, and with Jess Oliver's passing a lot of discussion about the SB-12, B-15 and B-18 Portaflex's.

Anyone out there have a Silvertone 1483? Better yet, anyone with a few sound clips? I'm currently on the lookout for one to use in the recording studio, and believe it or not, I have never owned one of these.

Help?

Back in the day I never found a Silvertone that didn't sound great on guitar, and never found one that sounded good on bass, including the 1483. It certainly is no B15. For recording it might be OK.
