Simple wear and tear or a speaker waiting to blow?

I own a Marshall MB4210. A couple of days ago i noticed this on one of the speakers.

Should I be worried or is this just a cosmetic defect?

Sorry for the quality, taken with my phone.

take the grill cover off and have a better look see if its a crack in paint or in the speaker itself.

That looks like a driver in need of a recone.

Not a big deal - just touch it up with a black marker!

NO! Don't listen to anything scottbass tells you!

I'm quite sure it's a crack in the paint and not the speaker. I guess I'll check up on replacement or repair costs just to be safe.

Hi.

Looks like a crease/separated surround to me. Hopefully not.

I seriously doubt that reconing is a feasible alternative with newer Celestions.

Sam
