Not a 12 but a 10, and mine has built in tilt back. Used to do a 12 that didn't tilt, though. Stuck a 2x2 painted black under it and left it on the floor. But you can elevate it some without losing floor coupling. Doesn't really matter for floor coupling till you elevate it like 2 1/2 feet. If there's a wall, I like it as close as possible because you can get cancellations at certain frequencies depending on how far from the wall.

I used the AmpWedge at practice to good effect. But now I've got a new problem to solve. I want to sit my head on the cabinet. But it's slipping off the cab due to the angle. I'm coming up with a couple of different ideas but am interested to hear how you guys solved this. (The head is a GK 700RBII).

I use the AmpWedge as well. Love it. Does you cabinet have a handle on top? I use the feet of my amp head to catch the handle on top of my Berg. Works perfectly.

LOL. Thought of that but it defeats the point of the wedge which was to angle the cab so it's pointing at my head.
