Found a trace elliot v-type head and would like some small cab recomendations. Will mostly be used for homestudio recording, DI from the v-type, friend of mine is an egeneer so we might try some of his mics on the cab. Apart from this thecab will be used for jamming/practice and the occasional backyard gig, so does not have to be loud.
Hve been looking at the 112's from eden, aguilar and bergantino. I always find it very difficult to describe the sound/tone I'm looking for. The drums we are using for the project are vintage(superiordrummer custom&vintage) sounding, so the bass needs some bite/growl to cut through but can be warm. Not too warm/muddy not too cold/dead.
The drum/bass sound on Rush album permantent waves is great example of this. The bass tone in the begining of this clip might give you an idea of what I'm after.

Out of the three edens cabs are the most affordable in europe at the moment.
Anyway enough rambling. Think tool meets kyuss, for the bass tone if thats any help.
