Small Practice Amp

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm new to bass and have a question about small amps.

I have a battery powered Danelectro Honeytone amp I use for guitar practice.

If I plug a bass into this, will I blow it up or will it be fine for light practice. I'm not trying to blow my roof off, just hear what I'm playing.

I'd like to save money but I don't want to destroy my current equipment. Thanks.

At low volumes you'll be fine. You'll definitely hear a problem if you start playing too loud.

I can't imagine a battery-powered amp being designed without a high-pass filter. So even turned up loud, your bass won't hurt it any more than a guitar would.
