*Make sure you watch it in the highest quality!!!!*
‪Alabaster Overcome‬‏ - YouTube

This is the first time I have ever recorded bass (or played bass in a band) so it was defiantly an experience.

We used my Aguilar DB750 into an Ampeg 810e and just mid'ed it with a D112.

What do you guys think of the sound?

You also get to see some studio footage of my Ric getting some well deserved action.

There's a Rick bass on this? I see you holding one and playing it but the bass tone is really generic sounding.

It is a guy who lives in the house that we did most of the tracking in. He was a nice guy!

I checked out the song when you posted the link to the Video for Overcome in the Ric thread. I really, really liked it!

I'm pleased to tell you I just D/Led the album from iTunes. Congrats! I think it sounds great! I like your singer's voice quite a lot and she does a great job.

Sounds good...kinda reminds me of Paramore a little, but not as pop. I liked it - I can see why you are excited about it - good luck with the release and sales!

Cheers

You may be in trouble. I like the music. And I'm old. The bass sounds regular. Good, but regular.

Cool song, get the bass higher in the mix though.

I'm positively ancient but y'know what? I did like the track. Loved the harmony. All in all: well done and good luck for the future.
