So who is going to sell their AG500 for a TH500?

What it says. I am curious if anyone would be content to ditch their Aguilar AG500 for a TH500. Saving weight and cutting down on the number of knobs would be one advantage. I havent been able to try both amps at once so I will have to assume they are equally as loud.
Any other thoughts?
Is the price of AG500's in the used market about to get pushed down by a glut of folks jumping on the smaller heads?

I was just kind of going out on a limb and substituting TH 500 for Tone Hammer 500. Kind of keeping with the Aguilar name scheme of two letters and all.
DB
GS
SL
AG
etc.
I kind of assumed that was the deal on the new Aguilar head. Went to the site just now. Surprised to see its the only item in their amplification category that doesnt have a two letter prefix?

That's okay, over at the RickResource Forum we use dozens of abbreviations and "code".

TH500 is the correct name for that amp. It's on the site that way too. Some of us thought it was going to be the SL500 keeping in line with the "Super Light" series but it was changed for whatever reason.

I'd like to try one, preferably side-by-side with a Streamliner and RH450. May the best gritty micro win!

Nah, that's TC Electronics. What's really confusing is that people are calling the AudioKinesis Thunderchild the TC112. That's confusing. TH500 is plenty different.
