Solid all-around rig..a quick question

Sign in to disble this ad
In a purely spiteful move, designed to desroy my guitarist's hearing, I've upgraded my amp to a Mackie 1400i power amp being fed by a SABDDI into an Avatar compact 15.

What other cab should I add to complete a rig that is good for all around solid bass?

My limits are: $150-ish used price, not excessively heavy, a nice full range sound (since reading here, suppposedly the cab on my Avatar isn't large enough to reall get a solid bass oomph),

This will be used in the context of a once per month basement jam/hootenanny type band. Classic rock primarily.

Thanks for the input.

Will a 2x10 fill out the lower end, and not overly emphasize the midrange?
