Amps are overrated. So are cabs. Basses too. Music as well. And what about pants?!? Sheesh, don't get me started on pants.

Want tube tone and compression and don't mind the weight? Get tube. Want headroom, accurate reproduction of signal and light weight? Get solid state.

It's because of the carrots, actually.

I prefer all-oak amp housings with truetone spradgets on the input flanges, but nowadays you just can't get the wood you know.
