Solo ERB Rack Recommendations

Sign in to disble this ad
Building a rack to accompany the Conklin I'll be purchasing, want to build a distinct sound with a range of effects and options... I'd also like to preferably keep it within the 4-space range.

Just wondering what rack pieces you'd all recommend (the cheaper the better), and any other particular recommendations you guys would have.

I acquired a Line 6 Bass Pod XT rack unit yesterday, which solves my tuner/effects solution (for the most part).

Thanks!

Crossover and one space power amp. You could then split the spectrum and run your line 6 independently through upper andlower

Could you point me in the ways of a good Crossover? This sounds like it's right up my alley, thank you!

I'd certainly add some kind of external eq. - parametric or graphic. Don't know how many strings you have but if you have an 11 or a 10 you might need to boost the highs needed to let the highest strings speak. They're thinnest and acoustically weaker than the lower strings.
