Some love for the Ampeg B series

So I just got 2 Ampeg B115Es, and took the whole big rig to an outdoor gig yesterday. I was running biamped lows into the B115Es and highs into 2 Warwick 211 pros, crossover around 250 Hz. The rains came, and we packed it up and moved up the street into a nice old wood hall (Spook Hall, no less) and I just set up the WT800A and the 2 Ampegs only in full range for in there, since it was plenty. About a 350 people sized room, all wood, high ceilings, built in the early 20th century.

Wow! What a nice sound, good attack and real smooth on the low end. These have to be the sleeper series in Ampeg's line. The B115Es are light too. I think I've got a new small room gig rig going here unless these things fall apart.

Got another gig out of it too. All in all a + day.
