Some Tone help ? GK RB 700ii

Sign in to disble this ad
I currently have a GK RB 700ii and use it for all practices and gigs with my band, I usually hook it up to a 4x10 in most practices+gigs. I was looking for some help on how to get this kind of tone:

YouTube - YOUR DEMISE - Miles Away

YouTube - Miss May I - Our Kings (Video)

I know this kind of music isnt for everyone but some clear precise help on how to get as close as possible to this kind of tone would be very helpful. PS i'm using a fender MIM (I know :P) 09 with Dadarrio pro steels in c# tuning.
Thanks

What cab are you typically using??? Just saying "a 410" doesn't give enough info...

I'd love to help, but I couldn't hear much, if any bass in either of those clips...

I'd say that if you're having trouble copping a particular tone, the problem is probably with those cabs, and not the head or bass - they aren't very good cabs, IMO...

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, bud...

C# tuning through a 410 BLX must sound poopie.

The first video looks like he has a SWR 810 with some kind of rack setup.
