I have the NX2 running with a Streamliner 900. I haven't had problems meeting my volume needs so far, but I'm pushing quite a bit of power into the cab just to be heard. My band has a moderate drummer and 1 very loud guitarist and I'm up past noon on the gain, pre volume, and master just to be heard.

I'm still figuring out the EQ on the streamliner and finding my place in the band, but right now I'd wished I had gone with something a bit bigger. It all depends on what your needs are. We are playing hard rock, similar to 90's grunge ala Soundgarden, Alice in Chains.

I might be able to talk you out of this...

I owned a Genz Benz Uber 212. It's much bigger than a normal 212 because of the way the speakers are positioned in the box. It's about the same footprint as a 4x10. The GB 212 did have handy built in tilt back wheels and handle for easy moving.

The biggest deal for me was the tone. I didn't care for it so much. I MUCH prefer the tone of my Eden 2x10 to the tone of the Genz Benz 2x12.

Different strokes, I sold my Eden 210xlt two 112Ts and like everything more about them

I'm a bit confused....

I remember there being a 53-lb NEOX-212T that caught my eye...
http://www.genzbenz.com/?fa=detail&m...sid=426&cid=96

And now there's a 47-lb NX2-212T that looks almost identical and has identical listed specs/features/description (other than weight)?
http://www.genzbenz.com/?fa=detail&m...sid=725&cid=96

Is the NX2 just the new generation of the NEOX? Or are both still being made?

UPDATE: OK, I found this thread: The New Genz benz Nx2 212T vs The Old NeoX 212T!?
