Sonic Bas Cabinet

Sign in to disble this ad
Played through a Sonic 15 inch bass cabinet last night. I thought the tone was great and my Littlemark II head really pumped thump through it.

Haven't seen any posts about this so I was wondering if anyone was familiar with this cab. I don't know the ohms or the power rating.

After this, all thoughts of myself getting a new head go out the window. I found the tone I've been seeking and It comes through a 15 inch Sonic cab..

I had one YEARS ago with two 15's ... it had a great tone. I did not realize there were still some around.

I've never tried one of there 15" cabs but I used to own a Sonic B610T. It was a great cab and cost very little money. I used it with my old Kustom 1200HD and it was a fantastic rig (especially considering the low cost; the entire rig was about $600).

Your ears probably wouldn't lie to you; if you dig the tone, go grab it!

i played through a Sonic 215 cab loaded with JBL E140's for many years. Sounded wonderful, but heavy as hell. Here's an old thread : Sonic Amplifiers?

I used to have a 1-15 Sonic cab in the late '80s, IIRC, it did sound very nice (I don't remember what driver was in it).
