Are you using a crossover to split the highs and lows?

Get another identical 4x10. Adding a 2x12 will not give you more lows.

Not necessarily if the drivers you pick are totally unsuitable for the cabinet you wish to decrappify. You could end up worse than where you are now.

Start there, and check the pdfs for the parameters too. You'll want something close to the size and box tuning with what you have, otherwise it's like asking what shoes you should buy.

The Deltas (non-LF) pretty much suck with anything bass cab wise, anyway. Not enough X-max no matter what you've got.

c_mike, can you give us the internal dimensions of the cab minus the bracing, and the measurements of the reflex port(s)please, so we can tell you which replacement speaker you can use

I thought I would have a great sound with 4x10's and and 18". Not so, it was okay but when I paired my 4x10 with another 4x10 everything opened up. More volume, great lows, and high's. Give it a try even if you have to borrow a cab to try. I'm using SWR Goliaths. II and III.

Thanx Guys ! Probably I'm going for Hartke 4.5XL, but I'm not sure yet about better setup.

410xl and 4.5xl or 2x 410xl ??
