speaker buzz or distorsion

well I tighten all screws as instructed here and one of the 2 speakers is now solid nice and quiet,but the other speaker still buzzes but get this if I hold and push in the the speaker around the edge it gets quiet no buzz I got to push in maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of a inch. What up with this speaker ???

Push speaker inward and buzzing stops

anyone know what is up with this speaker?I push it in and the buzz stops.can I ,should I fix it or replace. it is in a Hartke xl series cab

I have an Xl 4.5 and I get buzzing on one of the speakers as well, always thought it was blown but maybe not? you say u push on the speaker and it stops buzzing?

yes I push it stops

I was checking the cab out and found one speaker loose so I rotated it a little and re-screwed the speaker in and it was good to go but the speaker to the left of it was screwed tight and still bussing with E and A string so I pushed it inward maybe 1/4 inch and the buzzing stopped.

It's blown. You are dampening the buzz with your hand. Sorry, been there myself.

Mine only buzzes at really high volume, is it possible that it is the first speaker of the 4 receiving power and is somehow getting slightly more causing it to distort slightly earlier than the others?

well local speaker repair will fix for 85 bucks not bad cheaper than buying a new one from Hartke
