Speaker cable extension?

Sign in to disble this ad
Is there a cable made with a female jack on one end and male on the other to extend a speaker cable? Not for running a head to a cab, but to us a combo as a cab with external head? Those little 4 inch speaker wires aren't long enough!

If your combo has a 1/4" plug going from the amp to the cabinet why not just plug your speaker cable directly into the cab?

I found a splicer at AMS. MF doesnt seem to have anything useful which was why I posted. I need it 1/4" to 1/4" inch

Using a phone cable extender can prove problematic for speaker cables. The possibility of a short is very high. Better, if you just have to use phone plugs, would be a small box mounted on the combo to give something stable to plug your cables into.
