Speaker changing... need some input for a good set for a 6x10

Hey all,

So the 6x10 i picked up the other week has a bummy speaker. However, the cab is rather old... so i was thinking that a good summer project might be replacing all of them.

So, i look to the TB gurus and ask... what speakers in the cheap-to-moderate range would be a good fit?

could get pricey, even with cheapo's,and might lead to less than desirable results.....i would look around for a deal on a cab with similar drivers that is going cheap, and cannibalize it,or replace/recone the bad ones as needed

Basslite S2010s are the most economical high performing replacement for a cab with more than 2 drivers. I'd consider deltalites in a 2x10, but more than that and basslite all the way.

No that's super valid.

*cab ignorance* Am i ok if i just replace the 1 or 2 problem speakers? Everything will still be ok with mixed/matched speakers?
