Speaker jack help?

I'm about to put speakers in an empty cab I picked up and I've got a wiring diagram but now what I need to know is how to hook the wiring up to the input jack. Is the tip of the plug-in positive or negative? I've been searching for the last 30 minutes and I can't find that little simple bit of info anywhere.
