Speaker plans

Hi
Does anyone know off any good speaker plans for a 15" cabbinet?
I would like to use the Eminence KAPPA-15LFA.
I know Eminence has a software for that but it´s only available for PC and I´m on mac. Greatful for any tips.

the kappa 15lfa has no highend as a fullrange speaker.
I would do a search for better fullrange drivers.

such as the faitals or beyma

O sorry I should have mentioned that I´m not looking for a fullrange speaker, just a very low end complement to exisiting speakers.

I used the cabinet design for the fEarful 15sub. Worked out great. EZ build solid, light and works great with 3015lf. Might work with that speaker also.

Good luck.

Hi.

I don't remember whether there's plans for that driver in the Eminence site or not.
Worth taking a look anyway.

WinISD is free, Alpha Pro is very extensive but can be a major PITA if You're not familiar with its design philosophy, Beta is a breeze to use but a bit more limited.

Regards
Sam

Eminence 3015 or Faital Pro 15PR400 in a TL606 cab. Plans are free online.

You'll need to mess with a crossover for it to be worthwhile, rather than linking two different cabs to the same amp.

Have you checked their website? They have a button at the top of the data page for each driver called 'Cabinet Design'. It also has "Use a steep High Pass
filter at 35 Hz to protect woofer from overexcursion." at the top of the design page.

This matters a lot.
