speaker rattle or vibration

Sign in to disble this ad
put a15 into a ported bass cabinet at medium volume speaker rattles or distorts. I insulated this cabinet with thick house insulation on 5 sides is this too much insulation , also when mounting speaker outside -in there was no insulating material around the edge on back side o speaker where it meets the front of the cabinet could this be my problem? THANKS STEVE

You may need to add bracing inside the cab. IMO you may have more insulation than you need, but probably not too much.
