Speakon question

This may be a really stupid question, but it GK the only amp manufacturer that makes the speak-ons that take a 1/4" as well? Or do they all do that? I've never used speakon so I'm a bit cornfused.

Many manufacturers are using the combo sockets. That said the Speakon is an all round better connector and I would advise using them solely. Every cabinet I own of any kind now sport Speakons.

I know Ashdown do on the ABM amps for example.

As far as I know, GK is the only manufacturer that uses a 4 wire speakon for bi amping capability but many companies have speakon and 1/4 inch.

Not on their old ones... My ABM500 has 1/4" outs.
