Ok, do anyone know if this amp is possible to run bridged(left and right linked together) into 1 single cabinet? And if thats so - into 4 or 8 ohms? I would like to use all 600watts. I have a link to the manual but cant seem to figure it out...?

It would appear that the amp can run in bi-amp mode or parallel mono. There is no mention of bridge that I could see in my brief glance through the manual.

I've got one of these, and I'm trying to run it into two cabinets. I'd like to just send the low frequencies to my larger speaker, but the output for that is just a line out, not powered. Is there a good way to power this? Perhaps by cycling it back through the effects loop or something? Or perhaps a way to equalize the right and left outputs differently?

I've got one.

It has a built in crossover - you can run one side to the sub and the other side to the mid/high.

It's just a case of setting the white push switches on the back.

The amp has a 300W output section, it's 600W peak which is fairly meaningless.

AH600SMX has twin 300W power amps, 1200W peak. See pg 14 of that manual.

Meaningless as peak power stats may be, it's a hell of a grunty amp. Don't worry one little bit about dragging every last watt put of it. Just worry about your hearing and your woofers.

The crossover goes down to 250Hz, that's not really low enough for a true subwoofer. 250Hz is locateable, so you need to align your top cab vertically to avoid filtering in your mids.

I almost thought this looked wrong - I could have sworn it was more that that! I will defo check tonight.....

That said, running through ONE SIDE, into 6ohms (not 4!) this amp could quite easily blow my 1000w Warwick 6x10 through the roof.

As you say, seriously grunty - proper British watts. Weighs a ton as well......

Cheers,

Jim
