Right on, tjh! Venturing into running two at once doesn't seem to be standard territory for many. It's nice to have this resource available.

Had a thought... Here's what I'm doing, currently.

Bass > Morley ABY > Boss FV 50H Stereo Volume pedal > Amps....

If I pull the ABY out, should the loss of signal in one of the amps stop? I still want to be able to A/B/Y but for the time being I could solve the volume issue that I didn't know was there.

Sorry for my ignorance. I did some digging and reading and found that the passive pedals cause a 3db signal loss. A buffer is necessary.

Active/Passive ABY

Hopefully I can revive this thread a little! Here's my situation. I'm looking at ABY pedals and I'm stumped on if I should go with a passive or active one. My bass is passive, but i've read in a few places (hard to find) that going with a Passive aby w/ a passive bass would most likely get me not so good results as compared to an active aby.

the Radial Bigshot is passive but it has the ground lift and phase reversal, which I assume would counteract the passive pedal and instrument. I was curious if anyone knows or has heard of the same thing. Maybe it's common knowledge and i'm just at unawares.

I'm looking at having A go to my Acoustic b600h into two Ampeg 210av's and B going into a a 120w Crate Combo amp (2x12). I have a digitech rp80 I use for compression, reverb, and slight modulation, a Sansamp bddi deluxe and an OC-3 octave pedal. I'm unsure if where to put these in terms of channel A or B.
