Streamliner and Stingray.

Who here is playing the Streamliner with a Stingray? Please state 3Q or 2Q.

I have an incoming Stingray 4H3Q on the way and just curious what results you guys have had with em.

Stingray 5 user myself & I found it to be THE best combination into the STL.
Hope it works for you too!

Yes, Ray H 3EQ, Ray 5 HS, and incoming Ray 4 HH. I also have a Big Al 5 SSS, and a Sterling 5 HS.

They sound great with the STL900. Can you guess I LOVE EBMM basses?!

I can see that.

I had only one other Stingray prior to this. It was a Wine Red with Clear Guard fretless that I had modded pretty heavily. It had a Bartolini Pickup which was IIRC a 3 coil PUP that had one dummy coil for the single coil sounds. I had Greg Curbow install a Kahler Whammy and make me a replacement fretted neck out of Purple Heart. It was pretty cool as the whole bass matched in color. The neck was made to look exactly like a MM neck. It was a 2Q Bass. I should never have, but I sold it.

Anyway I thought I'd delve back into the Ray territory. Perhaps experience something a little different. Most of the time I play my 53 reissue Fender and nothing else. Though I have a number of different basses.

I was just curious of what to expect from a Ray/Streamliner sombination since it's been so long that I owned one. It's been over 20 years.
