| You can blow speakers without maxing the amp out, and you can max the amp out without blowing your speakers.
Buzzing could be attributed to something going bad, but it wouldn't "happen" to occur in both cabs at once.
Most likely something in the signal chain is dirty and fouls up everything following it.
