stacking amps?

I just got a Fender Bassman 400HB with a Bassman 410H. Because my room is not very big I have to stack it on my other rig until I can take it to our rehearsal room. The other rig is an Ashdown MAG 600H with a MAG 410t deep.

What I intend to do is stacking them this way:

Ashdown head
Fender head
Ashdown cab
Fender cab
floor

I'm a little scared the Fender cab might break under the (a little heavier) Ashdown cab and the additional (also slightly heavier) head. But I have to put the Fender under the Ashdown beacuse the Fender's surface is a little larger.

Will it hold? Is it a real risk or am I just overreacting? I'd appreciate some views, thanks.

The cabs should hold everything just fine. Wood cabs can handle a bunch of weight in MANY circumstances.

Have you tried the Bassman 410h, Mag410T together? Were you intending to do run them with one head? Dual head tones? If they sound good together, use it. There is a good chance though that the 410's combined (different brands) are not going to sound good together. By give it a try and see what happens.

Good bass tone starts with your hands.

I haven't tried them together (probably phase issues if they're more or less facing each other). Once they're stacked up I will.

You may live!

Ta-taa!

And I tried to connect both cabs to one amp. I think it works! It sounds a little strange since both cabs sound completely differently but the tone is pretty fat. That's when I plug them into the Fender. When I plug them into the Ashdown, nothing happens. I hear the speaker protection-click from the head but nothing comes out of the cabs. Any ideas why?

Both cabs are 8 Ohms. Both amps should work at 4 Ohms.
