Hi guys, I am going to be picking one of these up. Has anyone bought a tiltback stand for theirs? Any suggestion? I am looking for something that is light and can be put together quickly.

Thanks!

Amp stand for GK MB212

Hey John,
I've been using this one.

Buy ProLine PL-AS Adjustable Amp Stand | Amplifier Stands | Musician's Friend

I really like it! I recently starting using it on the tallest setting, which allows me to hear it great. I do fold up a towel and squish it in back between the amp and the back supports. That keeps things from rattling and may assist against it sounding boomy.

Here's a youtube of one of my bands where you can see and hear it.

Thanks Todd. What bass are you playing on there? I don't recognize it.

I kinda like mine coupled to the floor, and if I can get it, a back wall and a side wall . . . it has never sounded boomy, but I do get a slight resonance, which I EQ out!

GGS

Hey John,

I'm playing my main bass which is a "Graphite Guitar Systems"(GGS) 5 string bass model Serpentine 5. It's built by my brother Jerry Dorsch(One of the founders of Modulus). It's pretty similar to a Modulus. I did change the pickups and active electronics out for Nordstarand Big Singles and passive VVT.

I have the same stand, but branded as an 'On-Stage'...light, strong, versatile. Buy it!

I'm using this one to hold a 35lb GK MB115 and it works great!

Buy Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand | Amplifier Stands | Musician's Friend

The lowest setting at 14 1/4" works perfect! To transport, just fold it together and you're ready to go!
