Streamer Stage I Players - Favorite Amps?

Ive really been digging my SSI 5er lately. I feel like most of my amp experience is P and J dominated, so just curious what people like with streamers. Works great with an SVT sound for sure, but what else?

One of THE best sounding setups I've owned.

A thunderfunk 550B worked great with that bass! I am glad you are digging it! It was an awesome player! Also a Mesa M6 works wonders too!

Its such a great bass. All the right notes just seem to fall out and its got a killer but not excessive growl. I usually solo the neck pickup.

They both have non-extended highs and when tfunk came out there were people on here that had a db750 setting that they swore was super close. To me, they are both an evolved warmer better SWR sound.

My Streamer is just that, no stage anything. Mind you it is twenty seven years old. I loved that bass and played it through whatever amp I was using at the time. When I wanted to go to a five string, I did the rounds of the Long & McQuade stores looking for a Warwick five string. Everything had changed. Gone were the slim open grained Wenge necks and fretboards. Gone were the EMG pickups. Gone was "that Warwick sound". I can't tell you how disappointed I was. I ended up purchasing a Carvin LB76 six string and found a wonderful instrument. I ended up with three, one fretless, and retro-fitted EMG pickups in them all. I doubt I'll buy another bass in my lifetime.

I've used the Streamer through all of my current amps. Carvin BX1500 and a tube pre-amp coupled with a Class D Carvin DCM1000L. All drive a pair of Acme B2 2x10s.
