| My Streamer is just that, no stage anything. Mind you it is twenty seven years old. I loved that bass and played it through whatever amp I was using at the time. When I wanted to go to a five string, I did the rounds of the Long & McQuade stores looking for a Warwick five string. Everything had changed. Gone were the slim open grained Wenge necks and fretboards. Gone were the EMG pickups. Gone was "that Warwick sound". I can't tell you how disappointed I was. I ended up purchasing a Carvin LB76 six string and found a wonderful instrument. I ended up with three, one fretless, and retro-fitted EMG pickups in them all. I doubt I'll buy another bass in my lifetime.
I've used the Streamer through all of my current amps. Carvin BX1500 and a tube pre-amp coupled with a Class D Carvin DCM1000L. All drive a pair of Acme B2 2x10s.
