Stripped screw in GK MB210

So one of the screws always comes loose whilst playing and makes a terrrible rattling noise. The head also seems to be loose which rattles too.

So my dad said that when this happens the usual course of action is to use a bigger screw, but im wondering if this screw is touching or going into the head at all. if so could I just use a bigger screw or would i need this fixed at a shop.

it seems simple but i dont want to mess up anything i dont have to

If it just loosens but will tighten again a bigger screw is not the answer.
SureHold 482 Removable Blue Threadlocker 2ml
Or Locktite from your local auto parts store.

Is it a machine screw or a sheet metal screw? If it's a sheet metal screw, a bigger screw will do the trick. If it's a machine screw the thread locker will help (you can get Loctite everywhere, K-Mart, Walmart, auto parts stores). Just be sure to get the blue because it's made to be removable, not permanent. Otherwise, if it's a machine screw, it gets complicated to rethread for a bigger screw or to add a helicoil.
