Suggested replacement driver - Vintage sealed Bag End cab

I have a very old nonported 115 from Bag End in need of a new driver. It currently has an old EVM 15 but the driver needs replacement. For clarity -- this is the big 115 (same dimensions as the current S15B-D). I tried an Kappalite 3015 in this cab and it didn't like the sealed design at all.

Not necessarily looking for vintage drivers - a new Eminence would be fine if it works for the cab. Thanks

Check into the Eminence Beta and Delta 15a.

If the Eminence is the original driver, contact Eminence and have it re-coned. You can't just stuff any driver in a cabinet, especially a sealed one, and get acceptable results.

Yeah. Contact www.BagEnd.com

Small company, USA all the way and easy to work with. Nice folks. That's why I endorse.
