Suggestions on a good practice amp

Looking for an excellent practice bass amp 200-300 watts. With the exception of markbass.. Bad experience with them kickback preferred, help :-/

As in practice with the band or practice by yourself at home? You don't need 200-300 watts to play by yourself (certainly not saying it's wrong to want that much, though).

I do cos I keep the gain at 2 maybe 3 for a nice clean tone so I need that wattage, like what the bass player from cannibal corpse does..

A GK combo or Carvin combo are pretty light and loud. I'd go with the GK combo if you need an MP3/aux input.

It's all just persoanl preference. I'd be looking for a used Ampeg B100R myself. Tone is personal.

I like the swr tone but they're being phased out..

Carvin micro bass series are nice amps.
