Suggestions on good small/mid-sized combos?

Gear thus far:

Fender Jazz Traditional American
Harmony H-22
Standup through a Realist pickup

Effects:

Tuner > Snake Charmer comp > Nano Bassballs > Guv'nor clone > ODB-3 > Bass Big Muff Pi > PS-5 > DD-20 > FZ-2

Most of what I do these days is a mix between folk grunge rock on the standup and electro rock industrial with the electrics as well as home practice and recording. Most of my gigs these days are in small-mid sized clubs, though I would like an amp that I can plug into a PA for outdoor giggage (preferably with XLR out though if the 1/4" out doesn't make difference who cares?). I figure my budget is in the area of $1,500 and I live in Korea, so switchable voltage is preferable. It's 230v here (as opposed to 110v in the States). I've heard good things about Mark Bass, but what say ye on the Fender, Marshall, and Ampeg offerings?
