Suggestions needed for replacement part GK 1001RB

So, my 1001 has a problem... the plastic input jack has busted.

Amp is still operational, it's just that the sleeve that protrudes from the faceplate and the plastic nut that held it steady have broken.

My question for you TBers is... do you have any suggestions on replacement jacks? I plan on servicing this thing myself.

Thanks in advance!
-Ben

If its JUST the threaded nut, you can just replace it with a plastic or metal one. If anything else is busted you will probably want to replace the whole jack, which there will be a solder job needed (more than likely). Its an easy fix.... but if you havent done it before i would take it to your local guitar shop. Its a quick fix and it wont cost very much.

Thanks for the response!

The whole shebang is busted, so I'm going to have to replace the jack. Curious though, where would you prefer to source this part?

Got a gig on Saturday and I'm sick of my cable vibrating out of the jack. Need to fix soon.

For parts for a GK amp I would contact Gallien Kruger parts department.

But of course!

Their prices are better than PE anyway it looks like.

Thanks for the input.
